Pazham Pori (Banana Fry)


Ripe Kerala Bananas - 7 No:
Maida - 1 cup
 Rice Flour - 1 Table Spoon
 Sugar- 1 Tea Spoon
Sal - 1 Tea Spoon
Baking soda - a small pinch
Water - ¼  Cup
                                                                                Cooking Oil - 1 Cup    

Peel and cut the bananas into two sections, and then cut into thin slices lengthwise (Which is an optional case do this if u want your banana fry thin / if u have lesser number of banana’s). Mix the remaining ingredients together and add water. Make it into a smooth batter, but not too watery. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Take each banana slice and dip it in the batter, then carefully slide it into the heated oil. You can place 2-4 slices in the pan, one after another, without them touching each other. Cook them in medium fire until they turn golden brown. Both sides had to turn in to the same color. After a deep fry, remove them from the oil and strain them on paper plates. The hot Banana Fry(Pazham pori) is ready to serve

Banana Milk Shake


Ripe Bananas – 2
Cold Milk – 2 Cup
Sugar – 4 Tea Spoon 
Cashew Nuts – 10 No:
Pista – 2 No:
Cardamom Powder – A Pinch 











               Peel and cut the banana into medium size pieces. Blend the banana pieces with little amount of milk. Now once this is blended well add remaining milk, sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder and blend it well. Transfer the banana milkshake into glass. Garnish with chopped pista and cashew nuts. If there’s Vanilla Ice Cream that would go up with Garnishing too.

Rava Vada

Rava - 1 Cup
Curd - ¼ Cup
Green chilies – 2-3
Onions – 2
Ginger – 1 Small Piece
Salt - As Required



Roast rava on medium flame till you get a nice aroma and  cool the rava for some time. To the cooled rava mixture add the curds, salt, green chilies and ginger and mix well. Leave the mixture for 2 minutes. Make small balls of the above mixture and pat them lightly with your hands and deep fry them in oil on medium flame till golden brown. Tasty Rava Vada is ready.

Chocolate Milk Shake


Cold Milk - 4 cup
Chocolate Ice-Cream - 2 cup
Sweetened Cocoa Powder -5 Tea Spoon
Crushed Ice (Not Really Necessary)
              







             Blend milk and cocoa powder in a blender for few seconds. Add ice-cream (and crushed ice if you are using it) and blend again for few more seconds. Serve chilled.  Serve over a crushed ice. You can garnish this by adding chocolate pieces nuts or any other objects

Mezhukkupuratti


Green Chili -4 No:
Oil -1 Table Spoon
Salt – As Required
Curry Leaves – As Required
Raw Plantain / Elephant Yam / Beans - 250 Gram










                    This is an easy and but one of the mostly used South Indian dish named as Mezhukkupuratti. For this cut the Raw plantain /elephant yam / beans into vertical halves. Place them in a pan along with oil, turmeric powder and green chili and cook until all the water content gets evaporated. To this add fried curry leaves

Mushroom Biryani


Basmati Rice - 2 Cup 
Water - 2 Cup
Coriander Leaves - ½ Cup
Mushroom - ½ Kg
Pepper Powder
Cumin Seed Powder -1 Tea Spoon
Turmeric Powder - ½ Tea Spoon
Ghee - 3 Table Spoon
Tomato Sauce - 2 Table Spoon
Garlic Paste - Table Spoon
Ginger Paste -1 Table Spoon
Onion - 4 No:
Raisins - 20 No:
Cashew Nut -12 No:
Salt- As Required


Boil the mushroom with pepper powder, cumin seed powder, turmeric powder, salt for 5 minutes. Heat 2 table spoon of ghee in a pan and sauté this with onion, garlic and ginger paste. To this add boiled mushroom and mix it well. To this add boiled rice, tomato sauce and cook it low flame for few minutes. Sprinkle it with fried cashew nut, raisins, coriander leaves. A tasty Mushroom biryani is ready to be served.
